| Here we have for sale a very nice piece of history. In the 12 years I’ve been involved in the VW world I’ve only ever had one other right hand drive, 4 berth moonraker for sale, and this one is a real beast! Not only is the paint work in beautiful condition (top and bottom) but the interior is also in good, original condition, which is very rare. These vans were made for one year only which makes them hard to come by. It’s been professionaly lowered 4 inches all round and has a nice, shiny set of fush's fitted which suit this style of van, what we’d call a head turner. The interior consists of a 2-ring gas burner, sink, onboard water tank and cool box (a fridge can be added instead of the cool box at extra cost) 3/4 rock and roll bed, original upholstery and rear seatbelts. It has an overhead locker, plenty of storage space and also a double buddy seat and pop-up table which neatly stores away under the overhead locker. Comes with a CD player with iPod inlet and 4-way speaker system. The double bed in the pop-top roof is 4ft by 6ft in size and can sleep 2 adults so that makes this van a 4 adult sleeper, not 2 adults and 2 children like most other vans. The paint work is in VERY good condition and the pictures do this van no justice, come and see for yourself, you will not be disappointed. The engine is a recently rebuilt 1776cc with twin solex's which helps her cruise very comfortably at 80mph, so not only does this van look cool, it's also very fast, and dont forget, it's a right hand drive. |
