German steering box conversions One of the main problems with Brazilian Kombis over the years has been the steering boxes wearing out, so here at VW Down Under we decided to eradicate the problem by replacing the Brazilian box with a NEW German steering box. This is no mean feat and should not be carried out by a novice as it requires great skill to re-build the chassis rail and don't forget, once you have one of our steering converions, you can also have power steering (go to power steering page) Prices start from: LHD Brazilian (includes new steering box)
