LHD Westfalia Champagne Edition
40,000 miles from new • £25,995

Click on the image for more pics
They called this a Champagne edition for a good reason, it really doesn’t get any better than this. It’s a one year only van that’s lived all its life in sunny California and is now available here - and it’s the best one in the UK for sale at present.
It’s in amazing condition - all the original interior in MINT condition, cooker, sink, fridge, on-board water tank, captain’s seat, foot stool (or trash can, as they say in the US), reading light (very rare) lpg gas tank, all the original dash and mats all in the brown (again very rare), all the original door handles, steering wheel (also in the brown), it's like the interior has never been used. It also comes with rear seat belts and stereo.
These vans sleep 4 adults and one child very comfortably, with a rock and roll bed down below and a 6ft by 4ft bed in the roof and a child’s hammock at the front. These vans really are the best VW conversion ever made!
The pop top canvas is the original one, yes, that’s a 32 year old canvas in good condition. The engine is the original 2000i for the van and has always been serviced, it runs very quiet and pulls like a train, and dont forget it's only done 40k miles from new.
The first to see will buy this van!

This week’s ‘Van of the Week’ is a 1976 LHD Westfalia Berlin Deluxe. These vans very rare and even more so when they’re as solid as this one. It’s NEVER been welded and doesn’t need any either - even the battery tray is solid which I have never seen before.
All the interior is original spec and being a deluxe it has a cooker, sink and fridge, on board water tank, 240v hook-up, front and rear tables and a swivel passenger seat which really opens up the interior. All the holstery is original and in great condition, it comes with rear seat belts and iPod stereo, 2nd battery and split charger relay, so pretty much everything you’ll need to go camping.
The engine is a 2000i which pulls like a train (great for climbing those hills in Devon and Cornwall) all the gears are very tight, in fact it drives like new. This camper also comes with tax, MOT and a 3-month warranty so you can buy with confidence as we sell our vans with confidence!

1976 LHD Westfalia Berlin
£16,995 • Sold

Perfect for summer cruising, this 1976 Westy Berlin is ready and raring to go. This extremely solid and straight, 2 litre injection camper originates from the sunny states (California to be exact) so can proudly boast that it's
rust free. It's been lowered and painted in a very nice marinogelb yell0w that's pleasing on the eye. It's a 4-berth - or should we say 4 adult berth - so there's plenty of space inside for a comfortable night's sleep and a Propex gas heater to keep you warm on those chilly evenings.
Inside you'll find the original westy fabric in good condition plus an on-board water tank, stereo with speakers and captain's seat, it also comes with an awning and split charger relay leisure battery.
The original westfalia pop-top is attached to a good quality roof canvas which easily has room up there for 2 adults, not forgeting the 2 adults downstairs too! It's taxed and MOTd until the end of February 2011 and has a full service history.
We really like this van, it drives like an absolute dream (like brand new in fact) and is in very good condition for a 34 year old van, the only regret we have is that it won't be around in our yard long enough for us to keep appreciating it, we think it's going to sell soon!

For sale:
1962 and 1967 Right Hand Drive Splitty's

Click on the image for more pics
So, where do we begin when we have not one, but TWO right hand drive splits for sale in such lovely condition? Let’s start with the oldest one.
The yellow splitty was born in 1962 and converted by Devon Camper Conversions. Most people looking to buy a split really like these original Devons for their classic-looking camper interiors, and this one has
really been looked after, check out the pics and you’ll see what we mean, yes, thats all original inside!
All the window seals have been replaced and most of the door seals too. Many of the panels on this van are original which is very rare on a bus of 48 years old. The bus is all standard with regards to brakes, gear box and suspension and drives beautifully.
New TMI door cards all round, recently imported from USA - they fit and look gorgeous (see pics). The freshly-fitted head lining is also a USA import, along with the bench seat covers.
The engine is a Vega 1.6 single port engine with low miles from new, starts on the button and runs strong. The van was painted a couple of years ago in VW yellow (prior to this the original colour was mouse grey) we think the yellow looks wicked and really turns heads. The paintwork is in good condition and really shines.
Cushions and curtains are all in good condition and really go well with the colour of the van, so does the floor. It comes with 15-inch wheels as it should do. The small back window and outward facing vents are all original to this year. It comes with a full MOT and don’t forget, it,s tax exempt.
To sum it up, it’s the perfect van to grab a piece of history and a wise money investment at the same time, and a van thats ready to go camping!
Next is the green spilt. Born in 1967, she spent most of her life basking in sunny Malaysia, so as you’d expect, she really is rust free. She drives beautifully with a low mileage 1600cc twin-port engine freshly fitted and an alternator conversion.
This van was imported a couple of years ago, and was repainted in a lovely green. The wicked-looking interior was converted by Interior Motive, it also has a new roof lining. A recent complete overhaul includes new brakes all round, shoes, wheels cylinders, wheel bearings, brake hoses, brake lines and steering link pin. You’ll also notice new tyres and hub caps all round and freshly painted bumpers. She has 6 pop-out windows fitted which look wicked when open!
It really is a lovely looking camper who comes with a full MOT and again is tax exempt. So what are you waiting for? Call to book a viewing, we’re open Monday to Friday from 10am to 6pm and Saturdays from 10am to 3pm.
And the prices? The yellow splitty is sale pending and the green splitty is £16,995.

1979 Westfalia Berlin • Sold

What can you say when you’re selling a 31 year old Westfalia that has never been welded! Wow, that's what you say!
I’ve never seen such a solid camper. We deal in Westfalia VW campers for a very good reason, these vans really are the best conversion ever made, and this one should not be missed. As you can see by the photos, it’s a lovely, original coloured van with an immaculate interior. The veneer is 100% perfect which I’ve never seen before. All the upholstery and curtains are in amazing condition too, the front seats and the carpet on the floor are PERFECT!
The Westfalia conversion on this van is called a Berlin, which benefits from having the cupboards all down one side, plus the sink unit, cool box and loads of storage space, and of course not forgetting the 3/4 rock-and-roll bed and a double 6ft x 4ft bed in the roof that sleeps 2 adults, which makes this van a 4 adult berth, not 2 adults and 2 children like most other campers, 4 ADULTS!
Westfalia really have thought of everything. Check out the swing around captain’s seat, it really opens up the interior and makes it feel very spacious inside. The roof canvas was replaced last year and the colour really suits the van. The engine is the original 2000cc injection which starts first time and runs like a train, loads of power! The speedo says 70k and we think this is genuine miles, the van has been wax-oyled underneath so it’s all ready for UK driving. The camper is MOT’d, taxed and ready to go and comes with the original service book, also very rare.
The owner has left a new 3-way fridge unit which comes with the van and a stand-up cooker for outside cooking. It also has 240v hook up.
There’s not much else I can say about this van other than the first to view it will buy it!
