Here's one for you. A nice original 4-berth Westy with a twin-carb 2000cc engine re-built four years ago - it runs and drives like a dream - ideal for climbing those hills on trips to Cornwall! The pop-top roof is original and has been cleaned up nicely, the body has been re-painted by us in authentic VW colours and it's got an original Westfalia interior in mint condition. Inside you will find a cooker, 3-way fridge, on-board gas and water tanks and even the curtains are original! It has new wheels and tyres and beautiful chrome rims and hubcaps.

Pop-top roof conversions

VW Downunder are proud to announce that we are now offering the best roof conversion available. They have been built from scratch using a late 1970's Westy roof as the template to manufacture an authentic styled pop top conversion.

The latest new Brazilian VW Camper to roll off the GoWesty Camper production line is this gorgeous, bespoke chocolate brown Relic.

It has all the features of the GoWesty Relic Camper but has been painted in this amazing custom brown colour. It's fitted with the new 12v compressor fridge (so no need for gas) saving you money and protecting the environment too. Also new to the options list is the latest funky retro-style flooring – the dash is colour-coded to match the lower body paintwork, it boasts a full chrome pack, lowered suspension and sits on fully polished porsche fuchs-style alloy wheels to finish off the look of this lovely new bay window camper.

This brand new, 1400cc Brazilian Bay has been furnished with a top quality GoWesty Relic interior. It’s got all the “street cred” of a classic old bus but benefits from the reliability that comes with a new water cooled camper.

We are now leaning towards using more traditional colours, which we feel work better than the modern colour palettes available, this van has been finished in the original Splitty Sealing Wax Red. We’ve also binned the black plastic top grill and replaced it with an original German metal one that has been colour-coded with the white on the top of the van. It gives a nice contrast to the front.

Boasting loads of nice extras inside including: a full-width rock-and-roll bed with original style Westy fabric, fold-away table, drop-down 2-ring gas burning hob, 3-way fridge, 240V hook-up, leisure battery and split charger relay, full-length head lining, colour-coded dash, CD player and speakers and a full set of rear seatbelts, this camper is sure to give our clients many years of enjoyment and a whole host of memories to cherish.

This great looking camper has been built to the same high quality specifications as the Relic but with a slightly different layout. The 2 ring gas cooker, sink and storage units all sit down one side, fitting perfectly with the three quarter “rock-and-roll” bed. Take out the free-standing removable centre table, flip round the Captain’s seat and you’ll be forgiven for thinking you’ve entered the Tardis! Again, with the on-board gas tank and electrically pumped water, camping in this bus is an absolute pleasure, and you can be assured that you’re driving a bus crafted in the highest quality materials.
